The perfect flying companion with its oversized 1/10th sec. counter
In the 1960s, flying was not only reserved to daredevil fighters, a big group were amateur pilots, and loved this peculiar hobby. They were flying for fun, not for war, but they still needed a very legible watches that could provide precious information in the cockpit.
These tool watches appeal to the adventurer in me, I can't escape to see them worn under a flight jacket while piloting an airplane in the glamorous 1960's. They focus on the bare essential for the heroes of that period, and some 50 years later still look rough and sexy. - DH
